Do I need to sign up for Identity IQ?
Yes, it is important to sign up with identity IQ and receive credit monitoring for at least the first 3 months. Credit monitoring is extremely beneficial because it lets you have access and see what changes are happening with your file.
How soon can I expect results?
The three major credit bureaus have changed their updates from once a month to 60 days due to covid-19. Once we receive the updates, we will inform you of what has changed or what else might be needed. It is unlikely you will see the full results within the first month, so we ask you to stay patient and wait for one of our staff to update you on your file. The average time it takes to see a significant change in your report is 90 days. Though we will also inform you that not all files are the same, and some will take longer or quicker than others.
What do I need to do after I submit my checklist?
Once you have submitted your checklist, we will review it to make sure we have everything that was listed so that we can get started. If you are missing any items on the checklist we will reach out to you and let you know what we are missing from you. If everything is complete, you do not need to do anything else except wait for the monthly updates.
When can I start applying for things?
We suggest you refrain from applying for anything until we have completed your file.
